So it’s officially Halloween time and the much expected celebrations have kicked off at our favorite theme parks!
Many factors come into play when choosing the best Halloween party to attend with your family. We’d like to share a bit of our expertise to help you decide which party to attend:
Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios
This is a must for horror film lovers! “You’ve been warned…” is the tagline chosen for this year’s event. Universal Studios has added eight new scare houses that represent the different facets of horrors that have scared everyone’s pants off. You can expect to get chased by zombies from the hit AMC TV show “The Walking Dead”, and evil clowns at Giggles & Gore Inc.

Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens Tampa
This year’s event highlights a new interactive attraction that no park has ever done before. Sure, being chased by zombies is thrilling, but hunting them in a haunted house environment is even more fun! The Zombie Containment Unit will have guests strap on their ZED (Zombie Eradication Device), also known as laser gun, and aim for targets on the flesh-eating zombies themselves. Every shot "stuns" them for 5 seconds, allowing you to move on through the maze and run for your life!
Where: Busch Gardens, Tampa - Florida
When: September 26 through November 1 (Select nights only http://seaworldparks.com/en/howloscream-tampa/book-online/tickets-calendar/)
Cost: Tickets range from $50 - $65

On a lighter note…
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Magic Kingdom
If you and your family aren’t into chainsaw-wielding maniacs and flesh eating zombies, let’s get this party started! Mickey and his gang will dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes for meet-and-greets and the festive Boo To You parade where you will also see residents of the Haunted Mansion. There will be trick or treat stations throughout the park and a must-see special HalloWishes fireworks spectacular. Here’s our best tip: dress up for the party! Unlike the other Halloween celebrations going on in town, Disney allows (and encourages) guests to dress up in their favorite costumes.
Where: Magic Kingdom
When: September 1 through October 31 - Select nights from 7:00pm to midnight
Cost: This is a separate tickets event that ranges from $57-$77 (depending on the date).
Best For: All ages!
